Containment is a quarantine process for parts that do not conform to the original specifications that were required by the customer — including specific levels of inspections and sorting to remove non-conforming parts from shipments, and inspector certification markings to indicate that a part has been inspected and approved for shipment to the customer.

Our Quality Engineering facility can provide a wide range of containment, rework and
light assembly operations for most automotive components, with a special emphasis on automotive
lighting components and associated parts.
The facility has well-lit operator facilities, easy shipping access (four freight doors),
and the capability of illumination for checking lighting parts with approved power sources.
Ample warehouse or storage space is available in a facility with easy access to Interstate
69 (off exit 22, northwest of Indianapolis, Indiana).
Mobile Quality Engineering Services
Continental's Quality Engineers are mobile and can provide sorting and investigatory
services for the rapid resolution of quality "spills" and containment
can be provided anywhere in theUnited States, Canada, Mexico, S. America, Europe and Asia.
Our Quality Engineers are ready to respond to your needs with a range of special skills
that were developed in real-world manufacturing environments, and all projects taken on
in our Quality Center include full documentation of all non-conforming
part characteristics (visual, performance, dimensional, etc.). We are ready to respond
